graft surgery is over April 16 2010

I am going to make this sweet and short for now. We are about an hoour late in getting into the OR this am but the versed made this pleasant and humorous for us all. Infact,he ws so floppy from the versed that they had to tie him to the wheel chair to get him to the OR,he was way too floppy and heavy for anyone to carry this time. 2 hrs later,alot of stitches,some swelling,not tons so far,not alot of pain,alotta blood and minus 2 teeth,Zak was back in recovery waking up gently,unlike last time and sipping apple juice. He feels pretty good,tired of course but doesnt complain of pain at the moment. He seems a bit tender and is puting ice on his cheel for the day and eve in hopes the swelling wont become bad. We will see what the am brings. We are all home now and he is laying quietly in front of the tv watching a new Bakkugan movie. I will update more later and we progress. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, Zak is doing fine again. He certainly does take all his little quirkiness in stride and we love him for that.
