Today was the Vallejo Charter School Earth Day celebration. Laurel's Kindergarten class plantede a tree in the school garden. each child got to help dig the hole to place the Dogwood tree into. Their were other activities that the kids could do including pulling up their own carrots from the school veggie garden,washing,eating and putting the stems into the school compost pile. It was a great day,the sun was out and all the kids and families were there.
