New Tubes for Zakary July 9 2009

Zak and mom arrived early to the hospital this am. You can sure tell the diff between a childrens hospital and a regular hospital. As great a place as kaiser oakland is,sure is different than the childrens hospitals that i have been associated with and have had much experience with.
The Anesthesiologist came by and did his once over,the surgeon came by and gave him his once over and his blessing and the nurse gave him the liq verced,a nighty a cap and slippers,before we knew it,he was silly as a goose dancing in his nighty. LOL
Off he went,and before i knoew it,he was being wheeled back into the recovery room,all done. He was hard to wake up and we have not been having an easy time of the anesthesia wearing off,very crabby and combative,thrashing around,throwing things and being just down right unreasonable and unsafe.
We are home now,he is still rather difficult but i have faith that this too shall pass.
The doc said there was fluid that he drained and new tubes he put in, he can start back to swim lessons monday.
Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers,he again will be just fine.
