first of all. Whre the heck did january go? i am afraid i missed it somewhere.
today we went to the FCC sponsored Between two new Years(betwee american and Chinese new years) celebration that happens each year at about this time. This year the location was moved from the Presidio where there was never quite enough room to the Mill Valley Community center where there was alot of room and a wonderful LARGE grassy area in the back where the kids ran for a bit before we head home.
The kids did craft projects,Zak stood still for the longest time stringing beads for a necklace for me. I have never seen him stand that occupied doing something like that for such a long time. It was wonderful and yes we will be buying some beading activities for he and laurel very soon.
There was Chinese food and dancers,dragons and story time. We all had a great time. it is so much fun to see al the other Children from China,still many more boys than girls,infact now that i think about it,im not sure i saw ANY boys adopted from china there today except for Zakary. Guess that makes him EXTRA special.
We are home now and tired,the kids are watching a movie and then we are off to bed.
